Tilghman Rail is a division of Tilghman Rotoblast. Tilghman Rail is focused on providing a range of products and components to the rail industry in South Africa. The business supplies Shotblasting booths and equipment for the rail industry, large scale paint booths for coach and locomotive manufacturing, welding rotators for bogies and components, rail repair equipment and various components for the manufacture of locomotives and coaches.
Tilghman Rail has it’s own in-house design and manufacturing facilities. It also sources selected products from overseas suppliers. The business keeps spares for all supplied products and has a maintenance team to respond to breakdowns all over sub-Saharan Africa.
Tilghman Rail’s customers span the range of major rail manufacturers and their key sub-suppliers in South Africa – including Transnet Engineering and Freight Rail, PRASA, Dorbyl, Alstom Ubunye, LH Martinussen, Actom and many others.
